A MESSAGE FROM MY STUDY FOR 2023
Imagine, you are holding a glass of water. If you hold onto it for a minute in the same position, nothing happens. If you hold it for an hour your arm will begin to feel pain. If you hold it all day long your arm will feel numb and paralyzed. While the weight of the water of glass has not changed. But the longer you hold onto it the heavier it becomes. The stresses and worries of life are also like the glass of water.
If you think about them, for a while there is no problem. You think about it a bit longer and it begins to hurt. You think about them all day long and you will feel paralyzed, incapable of doing anything.
Always remember, to put the glass of water down. Carrying the burdens of the past memories of (fears, resentment, debt, anxiety, family problems, health problems, caring for others etc,) always causes unnecessary pain. We should find a way to lighten the emotional load. Otherwise, we will be weighed down and unable to move freely. No matter what glass of water you are holding onto at the moment, setting it aside even momentarily whenever possible, might be the best way to overcome it. After all, everyone deserves a light load these days. And now while we have moved into a new year. Please remember, put your glass of water down and do not let it overcome you. The will-power is there, and if you lack it God has a way for you.
May this New Year bring actual change in you, not a recurrence of old habits in a new package.
Wishing you 12 months of success, 52 weeks of laughter, 365 days of fun, 8,760 hours of joy, 525,600 minutes of good and blessing of life, and 31,536,000 seconds of happiness.
Many people look forward to the New Year for a new start on old habits. Every year we try to diet and exercise. Maybe this year our plans will actually work. A New Year is the chance to start over with a clean slate. Too bad my credit card won’t start over with a blank slate. I need to work hard and pay it off.
Life does not come cheap. If breath or air is cheap, working towards clean breath is not cheap. There is freedom in life but it goes with responsibility. Remember this.
We need a path with no obstacles to make us happy in the world and in our lives. But if we find a path with no obstacles, it probably does not lead anywhere. We need obstacles to make us more responsible and look up to the ultimate Being for help through His human instruments
Leave your worries and fears in God’s loving and capable hands. Live to your utmost. All the best this year.
God bless your heart.
Kind Regards
Uncle George.
